Curried Bean Salad

Prep 20 Mins, Cook 10 Mins, 9 Ingredients, Serves: 4-6

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. (15 ml) cooking oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • ½ green pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. (15 ml) Rajah Mild & Spicy Curry Powder
  • 2 tins baked beans in tomato sauce
  • 2 handfuls green beans, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. (15 ml) Robertsons Mixed Herbs
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) vinegar
  • ¼ (50 g) cup sugar

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the onion and green pepper until soft.
  • Add the Rajah Mild & Spicy Curry Powder and fry for one minute to release the aroma and flavour then remove from pan and allow to cool.
  • Place the baked beans and green beans together in a bowl.
  • Stir in the vinegar, sugar, Robertsons Mixed Herbs and the cooked onion and green pepper.
  • Stir well to combine and serve.
