Masala Chicken Curry

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. (15 ml) cooking oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 kg chicken pieces
  • 1 Tbsp. (15 ml) Rajah Mild & Spicy Curry Powder
  • ½ tsp (2.5 ml) Robertsons Chilli Flakes
  • 1½ cups (375 ml) water
  • 1 Knorrox Chicken Stock Cube
  • 1 tin chopped tomatoes
  • 3 potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup (150 g) frozen green peas

Instructions

  • Heat the oil in a saucepan and fry the onion until soft, then add the chicken pieces and brown well.
  • Add the Rajah Mild & Spicy Curry Powder and the Robertsons Chilli Flakes and fry for two minutes stirring continuously to release the flavor and aroma.
  • Add the water, Knorrox Chicken Stock Cube, and tomatoes and allow to simmer gently for about an hour. And then add the potatoes.
  • Cook for a further 20 -30 minutes until potatoes are cooked and meat is tender.
  • Add the peas, heat through and serve.
