1 Knorrox Beef Stock Cube, dissolved in 1 cup boiling water
2 Tbsp. (30ml) tomato paste
2 tsp (10ml) sugar
Robertsons Atlantic Sea Salt and Robertsons Freshly Ground Black Pepper
1 tsp (5ml) Robertsons Mixed Herbs
500 g Pasta of your choice
Grated Cheese to serve (optional)
Put the oil into a large saucepan and brown the mince in batches, whilst breaking up any lumps. Remove the mince from the pan and fry the chopped onion until soft and then return the meat.
Add the tomatoes, and Knorrox Beef Stock and stir frequently to prevent sticking.
Add the tomato paste, sugar, pepper and salt to taste. Simmer the sauce for approximately 40 minutes.
If the sauce becomes too dry, add a little water. Stir in the Robertsons Mixed Herbs a few minutes before the sauce is done.
Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted, boiling water, and add little oil to prevent the pasta from sticking. Cook for about 12 minutes until the pasta is tender. Drain the pasta and serve immediately with the mince sauce. Sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese.
