Team Pitseng – Short Rib Sishebo – Episode 4

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. (30 ml) Knorr Rich Beef & Tomato Soup
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 ml) Knorr Brown Onion Soup
  • 1kg Short ribs
  • 2 tsp (10 ml) Robertsons Barbecue Spice
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 ml) Oil
  • 1 onion - chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. (15 ml) Rajah Mild & Spicy Curry Powder
  • ½ a Knorrox Beef Flavour Stock Cube
  • 1 red, 1 yellow and 1 green pepper - diced
  • 2 large carrots - peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup (150 g) mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 ml) Rama Margarine

Instructions

  • Mix your Knorr Rich Beef & Tomato Soup and your Knorr Brown Onion Soup with a little water. Set aside.
  • Spice the meat with Robertsons Barbecue Spice and put it aside.
  • Fry the onions, Rajah Mild & Spicy Curry Powder and ½ a Knorrox Stock Cube in the oil. Next, add your meat and allow it to fry for 30 minutes.
  • Add the peppers and carrots and fry until tender.
  • Lastly, add your Knorr Soup and stir well.
  • Fry your mushrooms for ten minutes in a separate pan with Rama Margarine.
  • Add to the Sishebo.
  • You will have your perfect sishebo.
