Team Pitseng – Short Rib Sishebo – Episode 6

Ingredients

  • 1 kg short ribs
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) Robertsons Barbecue Spice
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) Robertsons Steak & Chops Spice
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) Robertsons Chicken Spice
  • 1 Tbsp (15 ml) Knorr Brown Onion Soup
  • 1 Tbsp. (15 ml) Knorr Minestrone and Mixed Herbs Soup
  • ½ cup (125 ml) Water
  • 1 Tbsp. (15 ml) oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp (15 ml) Rajah All-in-One Curry Powder
  • 1 Knorrox Beef Stock Cube
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) Robertsons Cumin
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) Robertsons Garlic Flakess
  • 1 red, yellow and green pepper - chopped
  • 1 carrot, peeled and sliced
  • Nuts, crushed

Instructions

  • Spice your meat with the Robertsons Spices and leave to marinate for 10 minutes.
  • Mix the Knorr Brown Onion Soup and the Knorr Minestrone and Mixed Herbs Soup with water and set aside.
  • Fry the onion in a little cooking oil with the Rajah All-In-One Curry Powder then add the Knorrox Beef Stock Cube once your onion is tender.
  • Add Robertsons Cumin and then the meat and allow to fry with the onions.
  • Add the Robertsons Garlic Flakes.
  • Add your carrots and peppers when your meat is well cooked. Finally, add your Knorr Soup mix and allow to simmer.
  • Fry your nuts separately with the Robertsons Chicken Spice and garnish the dish.
  • You now have your perfect sishebo.
