Chicken Neck Sishebo

Ingredients

  • 750 g chicken neck
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 ml) oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) Rajah Mild & Spicy Curry Powder
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. (15 ml) Robertsons Chicken Spice
  • 1 cup (250 ml) water
  • 1 packet Knorr Chakalaka Soup Powder
  • 1 cup (250 ml) McCain’s Diced Frozen Carrots

Instructions

  • Brown the chicken necks in oil, add the onion and Rajah Mild & Curry Powder and fry until the onion is soft.
  • Add tomatoes, Robertsons Chicken Spice, water and Knorr Chakalaka Soup Powder.
  • Cover with a lid and simmer gently for about 30 minutes or until chicken neck is cooked through. Add the diced carrots and allow to cook for a further five minutes.
  • Serve with mashed potato, pap or rice.
